Job Title:PeopleSoft Finance to SAP Ariba Migration Specialist Location: Morristown, NJ Duration : 12 Months+ Job Type: Contract Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced PeopleSoft Finance to SAP Ariba Migration Specialist to lead and manage the migration of financial data and processes from PeopleSoft Finance to SAP Ariba. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both PeopleSoft Finance and SAP Ariba, along with a strong background in systems implementation and data migration projects. Key Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end migration process from PeopleSoft Finance to SAP Ariba, ensuring the successful transfer of financial data, workflows, and processes. Analyze and document business requirements, systems, and processes to ensure a seamless integration of SAP Ariba into the existing financial ecosystem. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, and procurement, to ensure alignment and understanding of project goals. Provide expertise on SAP Ariba modules such as Procurement, Supplier Management, and Contract Management to ensure proper configuration and optimization. Design and execute data mapping strategies to accurately transfer data between PeopleSoft Finance and SAP Ariba. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the migration process and ensure data integrity throughout the transition. Develop and execute test cases to validate data integrity, functionality, and system performance post-migration. Provide training and support to end-users on new SAP Ariba processes, tools, and functionalities. Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring timely delivery of milestones and resolving any project roadblocks. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Finance, Business, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in PeopleSoft Finance and SAP Ariba, with at least 2 years specifically working on migrations or integrations between the two systems. Strong understanding of financial processes, procurement workflows, and data migration best practices. Experience with SAP Ariba modules such as Supplier Management, Procurement, and Contract Management. Familiarity with PeopleSoft Finance modules like Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Procurement. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and propose solutions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Experience with project management methodologies and tools is a plus. Preferred Skills: SAP Ariba certification or related training. Experience in system integrations and data mapping tools. Prior experience with cloud-based financial systems and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. Knowledge of Change Management practices.
