Position: SAP (ERP) Test Lead Location: Lisle, IL (Hybrid) Only Local Candidates Contract: 12+ Months Contract Job Description: Need Only LOCAL candidates. Job Description As a pivotal contributor to our organization, you will drive quality assurance initiatives, ensuring robust testing frameworks within your designated domain. Acting as the central authority for QA efforts, you will be responsible for and oversee strategic planning, execution methodologies, and automation approaches. Your role will encompass championing quality standards, optimizing resource allocation, and mitigating challenges that may hinder testing efficiency. Qualified candidates will have experince planning and implementing SAP Testing processes and programs. What You Bring to the Role. (Ideal Experience) Bachelor's degree with 8+ years in IT/IS and 1+ year in a leadership role Proven expertise in software testing and leading testing engagements In-depth understanding of SAP ECC across multiple test phases Experience overseeing multiple testing teams, enforcing testing standards & processes Proficiency in functional, integration, regression, acceptance, and automation testing Manufacturing industry experience is highly preferred Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline tools (installation, configuration, operation, testing, monitoring) Mandatory: Expertise in Tricentis TOSCA and Qtest Preferred: Familiarity with Neo Load Strong analytical & problem-solving skills, with a collaborative mindset Ability to work across global teams & multi-vendor environments Experience managing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) & Metrics Excellent communication & team management skills What You'll Do. (Skills Used in this Position) Operate within an adaptive development framework, steering quality assurance initiatives efficiently. Engage in strategic planning discussions, offering insights and direction on project trajectories. Contribute expert perspectives and recommend solutions tailored to evolving project needs. Assist in problem-solving and solution design, addressing complex customer challenges. Partner with cross-functional teams to co-develop integrated solutions aligned with project objectives. Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills, ensuring seamless collaboration across Agile teams. Provide structured mentorship and advisory support, enhancing the capabilities of junior team members in multiple testing disciplines. Establish trusted partnerships with IT divisions and business leaders to refine and implement robust testing methodologies. Work in close coordination with development and quality teams, ensuring consistency and excellence in deliverables. Leverage a deep understanding of test lifecycle processes, Agile workflows, and DevOps principles, while applying advanced Quality Management practices.
