Sr. SAP Platform Engineer/Sr. Software Engineer:

In this role, you will be integral to ensuring the smooth operation of our systems and will have the opportunity to contribute to a key project: converting our existing on-premise Redwood system to the RunMyJobs SaaS solution. You'll work on both delivery and operational needs, and help troubleshoot and resolve complex issues within the job scheduling environment.

Key Responsibilities
Support and maintain the Redwood job scheduling system for both SAP and non-SAP applications.
Configure and manage jobs in various languages including scripting (Linux and Windows), Database queries, Java, Perl, Python, and HTTP.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth execution and operation of Redwood jobs.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to job scheduling and execution in Redwood.
Contribute to the project of converting the on-premise Redwood system to the RunMyJobs SaaS solution.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Required Skills:
Proven experience as a Platform Engineer or Software Engineer, preferably in a utility or similar industry.
Strong proficiency in scripting (Linux and Windows), Database queries, Java, Perl, Python, and HTTP.
Experience with job scheduling systems, particularly Redwood.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment (both onsite and remotely).

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Additional Skills:
Familiarity with SAP job scheduling and integration.
Knowledge of Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions.
Experience with RunMyJobs SaaS or similar job scheduling SaaS platforms is a plus.
Experience in energy solutions is desirable.
