This role is responsible for ensuring the high availability, performance, and reliability of our SQL Server instances and databases, utilizing automation, monitoring, and proactive management techniques. Requirements: SQL Server Always On Availability Groups in Cloud (AWS) Very Strong Implement, configure, and maintain SQL Server Always On Availability Groups for high availability and disaster recovery. Troubleshoot and resolve Always On Availability Group issues, including failovers, data synchronization, and replica health. Manage the deployment and monitoring of Always On Availability Group replicas, including primary and secondary replicas. Perform routine checks on Availability Groups to ensure proper synchronization and optimal performance. Power Automation & Scripting - Very Strong Develop and maintain Power scripts for automating routine database administration tasks, such as backups, restores, replication, and monitoring. Automate the configuration and management of SQL Server Always On Availability Groups, including failover processes, health checks, and scaling operations. Develop custom scripts for health monitoring and alerting for SQL Server instances, clusters, and Availability Groups.
