Proven ability to facilitate workshops and transfer technical knowledge effectively to diverse, technical audiences. Deep understanding of Tanzu Application Platform (TAP) and its components, Kubernetes, and cloud-native application deployment practices. Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Helm, and vSphere. Experience in CI/CD pipelines and best practices for automated container builds, deployments, and security. Technical writing skills: ability to create clear, concise, and actionable documentation for participants. Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with a focus on hands-on learning. Ability to work collaboratively with client teams to ensure a successful workshop experience and knowledge transfer. Technologies Used in This Role: Tanzu Application Platform Kubernetes CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI) Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Helm) vSphere/VMware tools Containerization tools (e.g., Docker) Monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus) Version Control Systems (e.g., Git) Bonus Points For: Tanzu Certification (Preferred: Tanzu Application Platform or Tanzu Kubernetes Grid) Kubernetes Certification (e.g., Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)) VMware Certification (Preferred: vSphere, Tanzu, or VMware Cloud) Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and multi-cloud environments. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management practices. What You Will Be Doing Lead Tanzu and Kubernetes Workshops: Facilitate a series of workshops aimed at equippingthe Customer's IT teams with the skills to manage and deploy applications using Tanzu and Kubernetes. Provide Hands-on Guidance: Lead participants through practical exercises involving Tanzu platform setup, Kubernetes architecture, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and containerization. Create & Deliver Training Materials: Develop high-quality training materials, including YAML manifests, deployment guides, and documentation for future use. Provide Technical Support: Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during workshop sessions, ensuring smooth execution and comprehension. Guide Proof of Concept (PoC): Lead participants through the process of deploying a real-world application within Tanzu, focusing on phased deployment strategies and runtime security. Facilitate Knowledge Transfer: Consolidate learning through a final knowledge transfer session and provide documentation that will enable teams to manage their Tanzu and Kubernetes environments moving forward.
