Job Title : Sr. Clinical Relations Consultant Location : Remote Need LinkedIn The Senior Consultant, Clinical Relations works closely with the Clinical Relations & Business Development Senior Manager (externally, Director, Clinical Relations) to ensure the ongoing success of the relationships with our 150 Centers of Excellence (COEs). In this role, you will serve as a gatekeeper for all Facilitated Appointment and Remote Second Opinion requests to ensure they meet all process requirements before being sent to individual institutions. You will be expected to provide initial and ongoing training to all Health Advisors within the Comprehensive Advisory team. This role interacts with senior level PinnacleCare team members in relation to specific patients and their needs. In this role, you will directly support the Senior Manager in all initiatives related to growing the network of hospitals, COE s and individual physician relationships. Continuous maintenance of these relationships is essential to support the significant growth of both the Group and Comprehensive side of the business. The Senior Consultant may be expected to be available after hours should an emergency arise both internationally and/or domestically. How you will contribute: Direct oversight and delivery of customer/client service and accounting for premier access, member, and client accounts Builds and maintains strong relationships with administrators and C-level facility contacts Learn how to participate in the recruiting of new physician and hospital partners Coaches health and care advisor team members and recommends areas for training and development Works with Senior Managers, Clinical Relations, and other appropriate team members regarding training and educational development for team Understands when to refer high quality physicians to Director, Clinical Relations for consideration on Medical Advisory Board or for a potential individual RSO relationship Acts as resource to team to provide guidance, insight, and problem resolution Identifies service issues and works with the Director for prompt resolution, and assists in development of preventive measures to avoid repetition Responsible for carrying out 50% of Remote Second Opinion and Facilitated Appointment requests Provides support to Clinical Specialist ensuring all outgoing requests meet standards and support any needs that may arise when a member/client issue needs to be escalated at a specific institution Is available after hours to support urgent client requests and provide support to the team Collaborates with management team in various departments such as Health Information Management (HIM), Marketing and Sales, Medical and Member Services, and Client Experience to deliver seamless service and identify areas of improvement Helps to lead team with best example approach, maintains a positive approach in all interactions, and demonstrates excellent listening skills as well as clear and effective written and verbal communications with all staff Gathers all facility and external Physician intel and ensures it is adequately stored within the appropriate Client Relationship Management (CRM) system What you will bring with you: 10+ years work experience in healthcare, customer service and/or project management Associate or bachelor s degree RN/BSN/OT/PT/PA/NP/SLP licensure strongly preferred Experience coaching and training team members Expertise in healthcare systems and resources Excellent ability to build and maintain relationships Excellent time-management skills, agility in multi-tasking, decisiveness, bias towards action and proactive approach to medical needs of Members Ability to communicate effectively with medical professionals Candidate would be referring acute, chronic, and preventative care patients to various centers of excellence for expedited consultations.
