Work Location: Seattle, WA Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced IBM Sterling Lead to spearhead the design, development, and implementation of IBM Sterling Order Management (OMS) solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team of developers, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, and ensuring scalable and efficient OMS solutions aligned with business goals. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and development of IBM Sterling OMS solutions. Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions. Architect and implement OMS features like order capture, order promising, sourcing, and fulfillment. Guide and mentor development teams; perform code reviews and ensure best practices. Handle solution integrations with ERP, CRM, payment gateways, e-commerce platforms, and logistics partners. Troubleshoot and optimize existing OMS implementations for performance and scalability. Participate in project planning, effort estimation, and status reporting. Ensure compliance with SDLC, security, and quality assurance processes. Interface with product owners and business analysts to translate functional requirements into technical deliverables. Required Skills: Strong hands-on experience with IBM Sterling Order Management System (OMS). In-depth knowledge of Sterling components: Process Modeling, Order Fulfillment, Inventory Management, Sourcing & Scheduling, etc. Experience with customization and extension of Sterling APIs, User Exits, and Agents. Proficiency in Java/J2EE, XML, XSLT, REST/SOAP Web Services. Experience with Sterling integrations (e.g., ERP, WMS, Payment Gateways). Knowledge of deployment processes and DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, etc.). Experience with relational databases (Oracle, DB2). Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Strong leadership and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: IBM Sterling OMS Certification. Experience with IBM Sterling Store Engagement (SSE) or IBM Call Center. Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or IBM Cloud. Experience with headless commerce and microservices-based architecture. Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
