Perform server maintenance tasks, such as backups, restores, and updates. Monitor server performance and usage. Manage server topology and settings. Create and manage Tableau users and groups. Assign permissions and roles. Manage and organize site content through projects. Manage and maintain data sources connected to Tableau Server. Ensure data integrity and security. Diagnose and resolve issues related to data, dashboards, and reports. Provide technical support to Tableau users. Publish, organize, and manage Tableau content on the server. Ensure content is accessible and secure. Create technical designs, test cases, and user guides. Maintain and enhance existing Tableau dashboards and reports. On Tableau Desktop, create workbooks and hyper extracts. Responsible for the operation of the server application. Responsible for site(s), permissions, content, and users, when sites are used. Monitors overall server health including server usage patterns, process status (up/down/failover), job status (success/failure), disk drive space and stale content. Monitor license provisioning, usage patterns, Tableau Bridge activity, job status (success/failure), space usage and stale content. Familiar with Tableau Cloud.
