The ideal candidate will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of various modules within the Epic Payer Platform, ensuring seamless healthcare data exchange and supporting payor workflows. Key Responsibilities: Design, configure, and maintain healthcare data exchange solutions to meet business requirements, focusing on interoperability within the Epic Payer Platform. Implement and manage Epic Payer Platform modules, including Clinical Data Exchange, Member Insights, Electronic Authorizations, ADTs (Admission, Discharge, and Transfer), PAF (Prior Authorization Forms), and Claims Exchange. Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather requirements, design tailored solutions, and implement enhancements to improve the Epic Payer Platform's efficiency and functionality. Customize and configure Epic's Payer Platform to support specific payor workflows and business needs. Develop and implement templates, workflows, and rules to optimize platform functionality and improve the user experience. Provide ongoing maintenance and support for the Epic Payer Platform, ensuring the platform remains up-to-date and meets operational needs. Demonstrate proficiency in implementing Epics Payer Platform modules in line with healthcare industry standards and regulations. Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment. Ensure the Epic certification (a) in the Payer Platform is obtained and maintained to stay aligned with Epics best practices. Required Qualifications: 6+ years of experience in US Healthcare Interoperability, with a deep understanding of healthcare data exchange protocols, integration, and standards. Proven experience in designing, configuring, and maintaining Epic Payer Platform modules, including but not limited to Clinical Data Exchange, Member Insights, Electronic Authorizations, ADTs, PAF, and Claims Exchange. Strong implementation knowledge of Epics Payer Platform to support payor workflows effectively. Epic Certification (a) in the Payer Platform is required. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define workflows, and design solutions that align with business needs. Expertise in configuring interoperability solutions, including the creation of templates, workflows, and business rules for Epic systems. Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences, from developers to business stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in clinical data exchange and a deep understanding of US healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7, CCD, and IHE. Experience working with other Epic modules or familiarity with additional Epic systems (e.g., EpicCare, Hyperspace, etc.) is a plus. Project management experience or familiarity with agile methodologies is a plus.
