Hands-on experience in writing and maintaining automated UI and API tests in Java, JavaScript, C#, or Python using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, REST Assured, etc. Experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) languages such as Java, C# and scripting languages like Python, Perl, , or Bash. Strong experience in API and Microservices testing and automation. Knowledge and experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) using frameworks like Cucumber or JBehave. Proficiency in querying languages such as SQL (preferred), Oracle, MySQL, or NoSQL databases like Cassandra, MongoDB, etc. Experience in deploying applications on AWS or OpenShift (Kubernetes). Strong experience in backend REST services automation using Postman, REST Assured, Karate, Cypress, Ready API, etc. Ability to build test automation frameworks from scratch using modular design patterns such as Page Object Model (POM). Experience working in Agile environments (SCRUM, SAFe, XP, etc.). Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration (CI) tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI. Ability to create and maintain automated test jobs using tools like Jenkins. Experience with GitLab, GitHub, AWS CodeCommit for source code management. Experience generating test reports from automation test runs using Cucumber reports, Extent reports, etc. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to new tools and technologies. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with peers, business analysts, and subject matter experts. Must be proactive, customer-focused, and a team player. Prior experience in the airline industry is a plus. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Travel Industry applications. Knowledge of Infrastructure Automation using tools like Docker, Chef, Puppet, Terraform. Experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, CodePipeline, CloudFormation, etc.). Hands-on experience in service virtualization using tools like WireMock, Mockito. Proficiency in test management and Agile tools such as VersionOne, qTest. Experience with container orchestration (Docker, Red Hat OpenShift, AWS CloudFormation). Experience in performance, load, stress, security, accessibility, and usability testing. Responsibilities: Design, develop, execute, and maintain software to test applications. Define automation strategies and test cases for unit, functional, and performance testing. Participate in design and code reviews. Improve existing processes and build automated testing tools to enhance speed, quality, and efficiency. Work on testing both front-end UI and back-end web services. Own the design and execution of tests to ensure end-to-end quality. Integrate automated tests and infrastructure automation into CI/CD pipelines. Contribute to Agile development teams following 12-Factor App principles. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Educational Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. Equivalent work experience in TPF application development is acceptable. Experience with TPFDF and IBM Toolkit/Debugger is a plus. Additional Notes: Candidates must be comfortable engaging with clients, gathering requirements, and translating them into business and technical documents.
