Job Title: Senior Digital Marketing Specialist
Location: Minneapolis, MNRole Description:
The Senior Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing and executing B2B or Direct Paid Media programs to drive leads and profitable sales. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategies and manage the execution of digital media campaigns through paid search, paid social, and display channels. Your primary goal is to support the portfolio of products, services, and enterprise goals of the company.
As part of your role, you will manage ad testing schedules, budgets, ensure timely delivery, report on results, and continuously optimize campaigns. You'll work closely with business stakeholders, creative services, outside vendors, and other internal teams to define tactics and strategies, ensuring the successful execution of digital marketing campaigns aimed at customer acquisition, lead nurture, retention, cross-selling, and revenue growth.Key Responsibilities:
Campaign Strategy & Execution: Develop, create, and execute digital marketing campaigns within B2B or Direct segments, aligning with acquisition, lead nurture, retention, cross-sell, and revenue goals.
Program Development & Optimization: Manage all aspects of program development, expansion, optimization, reporting, forecasting, bid management, and budgeting.
Continuous Campaign Optimization: Analyze and optimize campaigns for performance improvements, including creative assets, landing page quality, audience targeting, lead quality, customer journey, and traffic quality.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with key stakeholders across the organization including Marketing, Sales, eCommerce, Product, and external agencies to monitor and optimize programs throughout the customer journey and sales funnel.
Ad Testing & Reporting: Manage ad testing schedules, track performance, and report results to ensure campaigns meet performance and budget goals.
Content & Technical Requirements: Provide content and technical requirements in support of the overall go-to-market strategy.Basic Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of experience in defining strategy and executing paid digital marketing campaigns across paid Search, paid Display, and paid Social channels.
Paid Media Expertise: Significant experience with AdWords, Bing Ads, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Programmatic Display (e.g., TradeDesk).
Lead Generation & Customer Journey Mapping: Proven experience in B2B lead generation, lead nurturing, and mapping the customer journey.
Analytics Tools: Proficiency with keyword research and audience research tools, as well as website analytics tools like Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics (GA).
Program & Budget Management: Experience in managing and building large programs and budgets.Preferred Qualifications:
Education: Masters degree in Marketing.
Experience: 5+ years of experience in Paid Digital Marketing either within a large agency or corporate setting.
ABM Platforms: Familiarity with Account-Based Marketing (ABM) platforms like 6Sense.
Digital Media Knowledge: Deep understanding of digital media trends, online marketing strategies, and industry best practices.
Site Usability: Knowledge of the intersection between online marketing and site usability to ensure optimal customer experience.
Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with cross-functional teams and manage complex programs to meet aggressive deadlines.Key Competencies:
