The ideal candidate will have previous experience with PayPal, Android Studio, Kotlin, Espresso, Xcode, Swift, and SwiftUI, as well as proficiency in mobile automation. You will be responsible for automating the testing and deployment of mobile applications, ensuring high-quality standards across platforms. The role will involve writing scripts using Python or NodeJS to enhance the automation framework. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer who wants to work in a fast-paced environment and drive innovations in mobile testing and automation.Key Responsibilities: Mobile Automation Development: Design, implement, and maintain mobile automation frameworks for both Android and iOS platforms. Develop automation tests using Kotlin and Espresso for Android applications and Swift/SwiftUI and XCUItests for iOS applications. Write Python or NodeJS scripts to support automation processes and integrate with existing testing environments. Android and iOS Development: Work closely with development teams to understand app features and define testing strategies for both Android and iOS applications. Ensure comprehensive test coverage for mobile applications on both platforms, focusing on performance, functionality, and usability. Troubleshoot and resolve automation issues, working across Android and iOS platforms. Test Execution & Reporting: Execute mobile automation tests on both Android and iOS platforms and generate detailed test reports. Analyze results, identify bugs, and ensure proper documentation of issues found during test execution. Collaborate with developers to understand and reproduce bugs for quick resolution. Collaboration & Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project requirements and timelines. Continuously improve automation frameworks and testing strategies, driving efficiency and coverage. Share knowledge and best practices within the team to enhance mobile automation practices. PayPal Experience: Leverage your previous PayPal experience to understand specific business requirements, workflows, and integration needs in a financial application environment.Essential Skills & Qualifications: Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in mobile automation testing for both Android and iOS platforms. Previous PayPal experience is a must. Technical Expertise: Strong experience with Android Studio, Kotlin, Espresso, and Mobile Automation for Android. Proficient in XCode, Swift, SwiftUI, and XCUItests for iOS. Expertise in writing scripts using Python or NodeJS for test automation. Familiarity with Swift | SPM | Swiftful and other related mobile development technologies. Automation Tools & Frameworks: Experience with automation frameworks and tools such as Espresso (Android), XCUItests (iOS), Appium, or similar. Knowledge of mobile CI/CD pipelines and automation tool integrations. Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting: Ability to troubleshoot issues in both Android and iOS automation environments. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Collaboration & Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams. Ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Desirable Skills: Experience with mobile performance testing and profiling tools. Familiarity with mobile testing on cloud platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs). Experience with API testing and integration testing in mobile environments.Educational Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
