Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior QA Engineer with extensive experience in testing cloud backend application frameworks, REST APIs, and API gateways like Kong. The ideal candidate will have expertise in test automation using REST Assured and Cucumber BDD, and hands-on experience with CI/CD, Jenkins, SQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Kafka, and Kubernetes containers. You will collaborate with development teams to ensure consistent quality of back-end services, frameworks, and public APIs. Responsibilities: Develop and implement testing strategies for cloud backend applications. Design, write, execute, and maintain test plans and test cases. Test and validate REST APIs and API gateways. Automate tests using REST Assured and Cucumber BDD. Collaborate with development teams for high-quality releases. Utilize CI/CD tools like Jenkins. Work with SQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Kafka, and Kubernetes. Identify, track, and report software defects. Requirements: BS/MS in Computer Science or related field. 5+ years in software quality assurance for cloud backend applications. Strong knowledge of REST APIs and API gateways. Hands-on experience with REST Assured and Cucumber BDD. Proficiency in CI/CD tools, especially Jenkins. Fluent in Java, PHP, or JavaScript. Experience with SQL, Oracle, and MongoDB. Familiarity with Kafka and Kubernetes. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with AWS or Azure. Familiarity with other test automation tools. Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
