React experience is listed as preferred, people with both React and Java would be shortlisted first over people who have one of these. Our application deals in the data governance space. So, anyone with experience in this would be nice to have. From the front-end standpoint, if the developer has experience working in the graphical space (Node and Edge based graph) would be preferred. Front end 60-70% and Backend will be 30-40%,. The app is written in React. So, we are looking for someone with React experience. We work in an Agile team environment. We have daily standups where we discuss the tasks or pick up tasks. Main focus would be development. The developers would also be incharge of writing their own automation testing scripts as part of their daily function. The role would be focused on adding new functionality as this is a new application. Data lineage experience is nice to have. Not important. There would be a technical interview where we would expect them to talk through programming decisions and concepts. We don't do hardline programming interviews. But, the candidate should be ready for technical interviews. There is not a separate testing team. We use Fitnesse. So, if the candidate knows Cucumber, Selenium or anything similar would be good. DevOps: We have a DevOps team who handles the CI, Docker side of things. So, we don't expect a lot of DevOps skills. Experience with Java 22 is not a hard requirement. But, there would be a push around Q3, Q4 to have Java upgraded. Would be nice if the candidate has Java 22. Java 8 is a must have though. The application is written in the latest version of React. So, we need React over Angular. Familiarity working with API would be nice to have. Understanding of REST, Spring etc. We deploy using Spring Boot.
