This role involves advanced analysis and development work focused on converting DataStage jobs into SSIS jobs while leveraging existing Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL databases, as well as stored procedures, functions, and views. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with SSIS, ETL processes, and database integration, along with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work across multiple agency stakeholders. This role follows an Agile-like software development lifecycle (SDLC) to support Texass 1200 school districts. Key Responsibilities: Convert IBM DataStage jobs into SSIS jobs while maintaining database integrity and efficiency. Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot ETL processes using SSIS and other data integration tools. Work with relational databases, including Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL, to ensure seamless data integration. Utilize scripting languages such as Power to automate and enhance ETL processes. Analyze and map data between different systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency. Conduct thorough unit testing and participate in Agile development processes. Provide thought leadership and strategic solutions for complex data challenges. Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting and data analysis. Maintain comprehensive documentation of ETL processes, workflows, and best practices.
