Please review the details below: Position Details: Title: Data Engineer Tag Governance & Monitoring Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid 2 days in office) Experience Required: 6-8 years Duration: Long-Term Contract Must-Have Skills: 4+ years of experience in data collection quality assurance in Marketing Tag Management/MarTech Hands-on experience with Tag Management Platforms (Adobe Launch, GTM, etc.) Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML Experience with privacy compliance monitoring platforms and opt-out management Hands-on experience with tag monitoring tools (ObservePoint, QA2L, Boltive, etc.) Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub) Experience with data governance tools Job Summary/Responsibilities: Develop and maintain standards and processes for 3rd party tagging monitoring and issue resolution. Design and implement tagging and analytics monitoring solutions. Ensure accuracy in data governance, compliance, and clickstream data collection. Support privacy compliance monitoring and data opt-out management. Provide technical mentorship and advocate for best practices. Work with MarTech and partner teams to optimize data collection strategies. Ensure business continuity by supporting live systems. Preferred Skills (Nice to Have): Experience with data privacy laws (CCPA, CPRA, GDPR). Integration experience with downstream data lake platforms.
