Job Title: Enterprise Cloud Quality Engineer (AWS/GCP) Location: Palo Alto, CA(Onsite) Job Type: Long Term Contract Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies for cloud services, ensuring that services in AWS and GCP meet the required quality standards. Support testing across various cloud components, including IAM, Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, PubSub, Networking, and more. Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and ensure seamless integration of cloud services. Leverage industry-standard tools such as Terraform and Terratest for infrastructure testing. Utilize test automation frameworks (JUnit, TestNG, Selenium, etc.) to increase efficiency and improve quality. Manage cloud service configurations and perform system testing using tools like gcloud, awscli, and network management tools. Participate in CI/CD pipeline development and continuous integration processes using Jenkins and GitHub Actions. Collaborate with teams to implement security testing, including TLS protocols, certificates, and data security best practices. Perform Web Service testing, including API testing with tools like Postman, curl, and a deep understanding of HTTP/HTTPS protocols. Work with configuration management tools such as Ansible and contribute to efficient infrastructure management. Maintain clear documentation, track testing progress, and report defects using Jira and Confluence. Required Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering. Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), including IAM, Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, PubSub, and networking. Proficiency in Linux operating systems (Redhat, CentOS, Ubuntu) and familiarity with system administration. Familiarity with Terraform, Terratest, and cloud infrastructure testing. Experience with service management, including knowledge of SSH networking protocols. Strong programming skills in Java, Groovy, and Go. Knowledge of Spring Framework is a plus. Experience with test automation frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber (a plus), and Serenity BDD (a plus). Experience in web service testing, including the ability to work with RESTful APIs, Postman, curl, and deep understanding of HTTP/HTTPS protocols. Familiarity with version control systems like Git and GitHub. Proficient in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions. Familiarity with Selenium for automated UI testing is a plus. Familiarity with Confluence and Jira for tracking and documenting test cases and progress.
