The candida implement, and maintain Apigee API management solutions, ensuring optimal performance, secu The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to support API integrations and moderr Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and manage API proxies on Apigee Edge for hybrid and SaaS deployments. Implement API policies for security, traffic management, and analytics. Integrate Apigee with cloud services (e.g., Azure, AWS) and on-premises systems. Monitor API performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize response times. Provide technical leadership, guiding best practices in API management and design. Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate deployment pipelines. Stay updated with Apigee product enhancements and emerging API trends. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 8+ years of experience in Apigee API management, including hybrid and SaaS environments. Proficiency in API design (REST, SOAP), JSON, XML, and Auth. Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and CI/CD tools. Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Preferred Skills: Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (Azure Kubernetes). Familiarity with API security standards (SAML - specifically OKTA, JWT).
