As a Java Developer, you will play a key role in developing and deploying innovative software solutions using a wide array of technologies. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining robust, scalable microservices, as well as working with cloud platforms and DevOps tools to ensure seamless integration and deployment. Key Responsibilities: Develop and deploy microservices using the Spring Boot framework. Work with various Spring framework components, including Spring Data, Spring Security, and Spring REST. Design, implement, and manage cloud-based solutions using Azure or AWS, including compute, storage, and databases (primarily SQL Server). Utilize DevOps tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and GitLab runners for automating processes and deployments. Implement and manage Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration of applications. Use enterprise tools like GitLab, ServiceNow, Autosys, Liquibase, Splunk, Swagger, Datadog, and Jira for streamlined development, monitoring, and project management. Develop robust, secure microservices and APIs. Work on Linux and Windows operating systems for development and deployment tasks. Participate in Agile software development methodologies, working closely with the team to deliver iterative and high-quality software. Create detailed technical documentation for all code and systems developed. Work with web-based technologies such as React to enhance the functionality of applications. Provide excellent debugging skills to resolve complex technical issues. Collaborate and communicate effectively, both written and verbally, with cross-functional teams. Implement quality and security scan technologies like Sonar, Fortify, and Sopsys to maintain high standards of code integrity. Have hands-on experience with markup languages such as JSON and YML. Thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Assist in migrating applications from on-premises to cloud environments. Preferred Skills and Experience: Experience with Tibco is a plus. Experience in WebSphere and OpenLiberty conversion is a plus. Experience migrating from Autosys to Azure ADF is a plus. Familiarity with EIL tools such as Synapse or Informatica is a plus. Ability to quickly learn and apply new tools and technologies. Qualifications: Strong understanding of Java technologies and development tools. Proven experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs. Solid experience in cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and containerized applications. In-depth knowledge of DevOps practices and relevant tools.
