They do 1 technical interview and then can usually make a decision. Position Summary: Participates in design, development, and implementation of complex databases, often using new technologies. Viewed as the subject matter expert for the team. Manages multiple, moderately complex projects and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives or operations. Routine accountability is for technical knowledge and capabilities as a team member or as an individual contributor. Works under minimal supervision, with general guidance from more seasoned consultants or managers. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors. Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Work leadership may be provided by assigning work and resolving problems. Computer Science degree preferred or substantially equivalent experience. Typically, 7-10 years of IT experience. Required Skills: Primary Skills: Proficient with Microsoft SQL Database Administrator Experience with Windows 2019 5 7 years' experience as an SQL Server DBA in an Enterprise Environment Experience with T-SQL coding and debugging Experience with SQL2014 thru SQL2019 versions, including Always On, SSRS, SSAS, Log Shipping, Replication, SSIS. Must have excellent organizational skills and detail oriented. Ability to work under pressure to meet tight delivery timelines. Quick to adapt to a complex culture with various processes and procedures. Ability to work well within a team located across geographic locations. Desired Skills: Well-rounded T-SQL troubleshooting knowledge Excellent skills with Microsoft' s Always ON for contingency. Team player, and great communicator. Has utilized Guardium or Splunk for monitoring.
