Job Title: Mechanical Engineer III( wire harness) Location : Bingen, Washington (Local) Durations: 12+ Months Responsibility:- 1.Design and Development: Create and modify electrical wire harness designs, ensuring they meet specifications and industry standards. Develop detailed drawings and schematics using SolidWorks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define wire harness requirements. More of a reverse engineering as product is already built and one has to develop a design based on the existing product. 2.Technical Documentation: Generate and maintain technical documentation, including wire lists, assembly instructions, and design specifications. Ensure design documentation is accurate and up-to-date throughout the product lifecycle. 3.Prototyping and Testing: Assist in the prototyping of wire harness assemblies and perform testing to validate design integrity. Identify and resolve design issues and implement necessary modifications. 4.Compliance and Standards: Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards and regulations. Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure products meet safety and performance criteria. 5.Project Management: Participate in project planning and scheduling to meet timelines and deliverables. Provide technical support and guidance to other engineers and team members 7+ years of relevant experience in aerospace Harness design: Designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting products Project management: Planning, including schedules and budgets Skills: Electrical Wire Harness design using solidworks, more of a reverse engineering.
