This role requires collaboration across multiple departments to ensure that supply chain metrics and quality standards are achieved. The successful candidate will manage the end-to-end process of supplier introduction, from initial assessment through to integration into our procurement system. Required Qualifications: Mandatory Skills and Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field. Minimum of [8-10] years of experience in supplier management, procurement, or supply chain operations on CNC machines or any other machines related to heavy machine shop. * Experience: Experience in CNC machine procurement, manufacturing processes, or a related field. Fair knowledge over NC programming. Working experience in machine shop. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of machinery operation, maintenance techniques, and production processes. * Strong understanding of supplier evaluation methodologies and quality standards. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with procurement software is a plus. * Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Lafayette, IN or be willing to relocate to the area. Detailed job description: * Supplier Identification and Qualification - Research and identify potential suppliers in alignment with company needs for CNC machines. * Supplier Evaluation and Auditing - Organize and conduct supplier audits to assess compliance with company standards. * Onboarding Process - Facilitate the onboarding process for new suppliers, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. * Interdepartmental Collaboration - Work closely with procurement, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure alignment on supplier expectations and integration. Requirement 2:- Job title: Facility Engineer (Mechanical and Electrical) Work Location with Zip code: Lafayette, IN 47905 Facilities Engineers (Mechanical and Electrical) - Chiller, Compressor, Water treatment with the ability to do RCCA Job Summary: The Facility Engineer (Mechanical and Electrical) will be responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and optimization of chiller systems, compressors, and water treatment facilities within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and environmental standards. This role is crucial for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of facility systems, contributing to overall organizational goals. Ability to conduct RCCA for these equipment's. Detailed job description: * Oversee the operation of Chiller, Compressor, Water treatment systems, ensuring efficiency and reliability. * Monitor and maintain all equipment to ensure optimal performance. * Implement maintenance schedules and record keeping * Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance * Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues * Work with vendors and contractors for repairs and service. * Ensure compliance with regulations and standards * Adhere to all safety protocols, training, and regulatory requirements. * Participate in project planning and execution for facility upgrades and new installations. * RCCA - Identify opportunities for energy efficiency and cost savings within facility operations. Mandatory Skills and requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field. * Minimum of [5 to 7] years of experience in facility management or maintenance, with a focus on chiller systems, compressors, and water treatment. * Familiarity with safety standards and regulatory compliance related to facility operations. * Proficient in troubleshooting, maintenance techniques, and engineering software. * Excellent communication, teamwork, and project management skills. * Certified Facility Manager (CFM), Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) certification, or equivalent is a plus. * Relevant certifications in water treatment and chiller operations preferred.
