Process Analysis & Improvement: Analyze current accounting workflows to define system requirements and propose process improvements. System Design & Implementation: Collaborate with software vendors and internal teams to design system configurations, integrations, and customizations. Documentation: Define and document functional specifications, data models, and system workflows. Data Migration Support: Assist with data migration activities, including mapping, validation, and reconciliation between legacy and new systems. Testing & Issue Resolution: Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and coordinate defect resolution with IT and vendor teams. Training & Change Management: Develop user training materials and support change management efforts. Project Monitoring: Track project milestones and ensure delivery within scope, budget, and timeline. Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert on partnership accounting and ensure compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements. Post-Implementation Support: Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting to ensure system optimization. Required Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field. Required Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in financial services or investment management. Strong understanding of partnership accounting principles, financial reporting, and fund structures. Experience with partnership accounting systems such as Investran, eFront, VPM, or similar. Familiarity with SQL, data modeling, and system integrations (APIs, ETL tools, etc.). Proficiency in business process analysis, documentation, and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, MS Project). Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
