Role: SAP Security Architect Location: Plano,TX Taciti Duration: 6-12 Months Key Responsibilities: Project Management: o Lead and manage security projects for SAP and other cloud applications (e.g., MS Dynamics, Siemens MES, PLM, CMS) from initiation to closure, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. o Work with stakeholders to gather the security implementation plan, assign tasks, track progress, and report status. Access Controls: Coordinate the design and enforcement of access control policies, procedures, and practices to safeguard data and applications within a digital transformation context. Enterprise Role Management: Oversee the implementation and management of enterprise role management within SAP and other cloud applications, ensuring proper segregation of duties and access controls. Secure SDLC: Integrate security best practices into the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for SAP and other cloud application projects, ensuring security is considered at every stage of development. Vulnerability Management: Manage vulnerability assessments, remediation efforts, and continuous monitoring to ensure SAP and other cloud applications remain secure. Compliance: Ensure security measures comply with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices, such as GDPR, SOX, and ISO 27001, particularly in the realm of digital transformation. Collaboration: Work closely with IT, business units, and external vendors to coordinate security efforts and ensure alignment with digital transformation objectives. Documentation: Maintain detailed project documentation, including project plans, status reports, risk registers, and post-implementation reviews. Qualifications: Lead the design and implementation of SAP GRC and IAG solutions, ensuring alignment with business and security objectives. Provide expert guidance on SAP GRC modules such as SAP Access Control (AC), SAP Risk Management (RM), and SAP Audit Management (AM). Implement and configure SAP GRC tools and processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Design and manage GRC policies, procedures, and controls to reduce organizational risks. Conduct regular risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and internal audits to ensure that SAP systems and processes are compliant with internal and external regulations. Identify and manage SAP security risks and provide recommendations for mitigating those risks. Implement IAG solutions to ensure the right people have the right access to SAP applications and data. Develop role-based access controls (RBAC), segregation of duties (SoD), and user provisioning/de-provisioning policies to prevent unauthorized access. Leverage SAP Identity Management (IdM) tools for access governance, role design, and identity lifecycle management.
