Cybersecurity Enthusiast: Demonstrates a strong interest in the latest cybersecurity technologies and trends. Technical and Business Acumen: Possesses a robust understanding of network security tools and methodologies to manage access controls and segmentation securely. Security Technical Controls: Extensive experience in implementing and managing security technical controls. Network Protocols: Deep understanding of network switching and routing protocols and their security measures. Layered Security Solutions: 7 years of experience in engineering solutions related to layered security products, including: Network Data Loss Prevention (DLP) technologies Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) appliances Cloud-based web proxies Stateful inspection and next-generation firewalls Competencies: Digital : Splunk, Digital : Network Security Palo Alto, Proofpoint Email Security, Microsoft Sentinel Experience (Years): 4-6 Essential Skills: Zero Trust Architecture: Experience with Zero Trust architecture and principles, including the implementation of Zero Trust frameworks. Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA): Familiarity with ZTNA solutions and their integration into existing security infrastructures. Zero Trust Strategies: Proven track record of designing and implementing Zero Trust strategies to enhance security posture. Desirable Skills: Remote Access Solutions: Comprehensive knowledge of remote access solutions. External Services Environments: Familiarity with SSL certificate exchange, remote access solutions, and business-to-business interconnects (site-to-site VPNs). Firewall Management: Expertise in firewall management and monitoring solutions. SIEM and Observability: Proficient in Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and data observability platforms.802.1x Policy Management: Extensive experience with 802.1x policy management. Web Technologies: In-depth knowledge of web technologies and concepts. Networking Concepts: Strong understanding of TCP/IP, web protocols, and networking concepts. Web/Application Servers: Experience in managing web/application servers. Leadership Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a technical leader, guiding other technical resources.
