Role: AMS ISU Billing and Device Functional Onshore Work location: Houston, TX - remote JOB DESCRIPTION: Role Overview: The Functional Lead for Device Management/Energy Data Management is responsible for SAP IS-U DM/EDM module implementation and support, ensuring the smooth functioning of device management systems in electric utilities. Key Responsibilities: Lead the deployment of the SAP IS-U Device Management/Energy Device Management module, with 2-3 full life cycle implementations. Prepare functional specification documents, business design documents, and test cases. Solution design, configuration, and testing for device management, including meter shop (inventory, testing, inspections), routes, consumption reads, and integration to billing and backend work management systems. Extensive experience in technical master data models and DM/EDM configuration. Experience in EDM settlement processes Lead integrated and parallel testing for batch job processing and exception management. Design and configure BI reports for device management processes. Knowledge of integration with Meter Data Management (MDM), Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), and Head End systems/networks is preferred. Requirements: 5-7 years of experience in SAP IS-U Device Management, with a minimum of 3 years in a customer-facing role. SAP certification preferred. Experience with SAP S/4 HANA Implementation Ability to work across Agile development, support, and deployment landscapes. Good communication skills and ability to work independently. SAP IS-U Meter to Cash Consultant We are seeking a skilled SAP IS-U Meter to Cash Consultant with expertise in Device Management (DM), Billing, and Financial Contract Accounting (FICA). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP IS-Utilities and a deep understanding of the end-to-end Meter to Cash process. Key Responsibilities: 1. Device Management (DM): Configure and support SAP IS-U Device Management modules. Manage device master data, including register setup, register groups, and device categories. Oversee meter reading processes, including creation and management of meter reading orders (MROs). Ensure accurate and timely meter data collection and validation. 2. Billing: Configure and support SAP IS-U Billing modules. Manage billing processes, including bill calculation, simulation, and invoicing. Handle billing exceptions and ensure accurate billing document generation. Collaborate with the finance team to ensure seamless integration with financial processes. 3. Financial Contract Accounting (FICA): Configure and support SAP IS-U FICA modules. Manage customer accounts, payments, and dunning processes. Ensure accurate financial postings and reconciliation.
