Job Title: SAP Solution Architect Location: Hybrid (Miramar, FL or Addison, TX) Type: Long-term Contract Doman is distribution, food and beverage Our client is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join their dynamic team. This is a long-term contract role offering a hybrid work arrangement in either Miramar, FL or Addison, TX. The ideal candidate will focus on establishing a sustainable technical architecture and play a pivotal role in designing end-to-end solutions that deliver business products or services while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Role Overview: The Functional Solution Architect is responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive technical solutions that align with business goals. This role will involve close collaboration with both business and technical teams, ensuring that the solutions are scalable, resilient, and meet the functional requirements of the organization. The individual will work alongside an enterprise architect to define the strategic technical direction and lead the overall technical vision for a platform, impacting business outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Develop solution designs and provide support to development teams for the successful implementation of business APIs (e.g., pricing, order capture, invoice management, etc.), integrating with SAP S/4HANA and other business applications. Design highly available cloud-native services and applications on AWS. Develop solutions that are easily consumable across multiple channels (Web/Mobile/Chat). Create architecture blueprints addressing functional requirements, data models, system integration, and user interfaces in adherence to enterprise standards and guidelines. Provide technical guidance to development teams during solution implementation, ensuring alignment with the designed architecture. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect 4+ years of experience (including most recent role) in AWS Required Qualifications: Minimum of 4 years of experience designing highly available cloud-native services and applications on AWS. Minimum of 4 years of experience working with AWS Well-Architected Framework. Minimum of 4 years of experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Business Technology Platform (including integration, connectivity, monitoring, error handling, extensibility, etc.), and SAP Sales and Distribution module (Order Management, Pricing, Invoice Management) is a plus. Expertise in application development, database design, enterprise integration patterns, APIs, security patterns, and best practices for application development. Proven ability to design scalable, resilient architectures that align with enterprise policies, industry regulations, and best practices. Strong understanding of technology stacks such as AWS platform and services, Domain Driven Design, Enterprise Application Integration (Kafka, pub/sub, REST APIs, GraphQL, SOAP, etc.). Ability to research, design, and advocate for new technologies, architectures, and products that support business and IT requirements for the enterprise, its customers, business partners, and vendors. Desired Skills & Competencies: Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and guide both technical and business teams. Ability to effectively manage multiple stakeholders and priorities. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
