Job Title: SME Network Engineer (No /CPT/OPT/) Job Location: Rancho Cucamonga, CA (Hybrid) Local Candidates only Job Type: Contract/Fulltime Job Description Key Responsibilities: Design, deploy, and manage enterprise-level network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, SD-WAN, and cloud networking. Provide expert-level troubleshooting and root cause analysis for critical network incidents and performance issues. Develop and implement network security policies, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize network performance and scalability. Lead network automation and orchestration initiatives using tools such as Ansible, Python, or Terraform. Support cloud networking environments (AWS, Azure, P) and hybrid cloud integrations. Evaluate and recommend new networking technologies, hardware, and solutions to enhance system efficiency. Maintain documentation of network configurations, policies, and best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience: 8+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering with a focus on enterprise environments. Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, or Fortinet networking solutions. Protocols & Technologies: Expertise in BGP, OSPF, MPLS, QoS, VLANs, IPv4/IPv6, DNS, DHCP, and firewall configurations. Cloud Networking: Experience with AWS, Azure, or P networking services, including VPCs, VPNs, load balancing, and security groups. Security & Compliance: Understanding of network security best practices, firewalls, NAC, and compliance frameworks (ISO, NIST, CIS, etc.). Automation & Scripting: Proficiency in automation tools (Ansible, Terraform) and scripting languages (Python, Power, Bash). Certifications: CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, JNCIE, PCNSE, AWS/Azure Networking certifications (preferred).
