Role: AWS Architect Location: Deerfield, IL (northern suburb of Chicago) Duration: 6 + months Requirement 1. In-depth knowledge of AWS services 2. Experience and/or in-depth knowledge of private cloud, data centers & other cloud platforms is a plus 3. Experience and/or in-depth knowledge of Containerization such as Docker, Kubernetes, Mesos, etc. is desirable 4. Hands-on experience in AWS provisioning 5. Knowledge of application deployment and data migration on AWS 6. Prior experience in architecting cloud-first applications on AWS 7. Ability to design high availability applications on AWS across availability zones and availability regions 8. Ability to design applications on AWS taking advantage of disaster recovery design guidelines 9. Prior experience in automated build pipeline, continuous integration, and continuous deployment 10. Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and cost management tools that integrate with AWS 11. Prior experience in architecting a performance test strategy for applications on AWS 12. Prior experience in leading a team that established Enterprise VPN and Amazon VPC integration with data center 13. Ability to work closely with business to understand and incorporate nonfunctional requirements in the application architecture 14. Ability to guide a team of DevOps engineers and developers 15.
