This role will involve the analysis of business objectives and problems, offering alternative solutions, and conducting cost/benefit analyses to enhance existing systems. The ideal candidate will be proficient in identifying user requirements, automating processes, and improving computer systems to meet organizational goals. You will work closely with various personnel to analyse operational procedures, identify issues, and determine data input/output requirements for reporting. The role will also involve overseeing the administration of an ArcGIS SaaS instance, ensuring the smooth functioning of the platform, and providing user support. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for Tableau administration and development. Maintaining user permissions, securing data access both externally and between user groups, and ensuring compliance with data security protocols are essential to the role. Key Responsibilities: Analyse business requirements, operational procedures, and user needs to automate or enhance systems and processes. Work with organizational units to identify issues, document requirements, and improve existing systems for more efficient processing. Develop detailed program descriptions, including user needs, program functions, and development/modification steps. Evaluate current system capabilities, specifications, and limitations to determine the feasibility of new programs or modifications. Serve as the administrator of the ArcGIS SaaS instance, supporting a wide range of users and ensuring system availability. Administer Tableau systems, ensuring proper configuration, maintenance, and user permissions management. Handle technical troubleshooting for ArcGIS Online and On-premise platforms. Develop GIS visualizations and analytics for business insights. Maintain data security protocols by managing user access and permissions to ensure confidentiality and integrity. Collaborate with business users to gather feedback, provide training, and ensure system usability. Candidate Skills and Qualifications: Minimum Requirements: 12+ overall experience with 8+ years of experience in ArcGIS Administration or development (experience in both is preferred). 5+ years of expertise in data management and understanding of database concepts. 5+ years of experience with data manipulation and cleaning techniques. 5+ years of ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to ArcGIS Online or On-premise. 4+ years of proficiency in user administration and permissions management. 3+ years of hands-on experience as an ArcGIS Online or On-premise administrator. 2+ years of experience in developing GIS visualizations and analytics.
