This role requires a deep understanding of modern data platforms, hands-on technical expertise, and active participation in design and business discussions. Key Responsibilities: Data Architecture & Integration: Design, build, and maintain scalable data integration pipelines using Cloudera, PySpark, Python, and Scala. Ensure seamless integration of data from multiple sources, adhering to Abbvie's Dataverse standards. Own the entire data lifecycle from ingestion and transformation to storage and analysis. Leverage strong database knowledge to optimize performance and ensure data integrity. Analyze complex datasets to derive actionable insights and support business decision-making. Technical Leadership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions. Lead and participate in design discussions, providing architectural insights and best practices. Perform code reviews and conduct functionality walkthroughs to ensure quality and adherence to standards. Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with business stakeholders and development teams to align data architecture with business goals. Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. Process & Standards: Review and maintain adherence to Abbvie's Dataverse standards. Utilize tools such as GIT for version control and JIRA for issue tracking and project management. Ensure best practices for documentation and knowledge sharing across teams. On-Site Presence: Must be available on-site at client location to collaborate with customer stakeholders and support critical project needs.
