This role plays a vital part in turning health data into a competitive advantage. Project Summary: Following a recent reorganization, the Health Data Insights team was formed to leverage healthcare data for strategic decision-making. We are seeking a Business-Facing Data Analyst to join the team under the Product Management function. Enabled by a robust Snowflake data warehouse solution, the team can now support end-to-end reporting using Power BI (Vendor, Behavioral, and Operational Data). Role and Responsibilities: The Product Data Analyst will: Consult with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide tailored data solutions. Engage stakeholders to gather requirements, create Proof of Concept (POC) reports, ensure alignment through User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and confirm insights meet business needs. Build Power BI reports and dashboards or collaborate with the reporting team to do so. Work closely with cross-functional teams to confirm dataset availability for reporting or ensure data readiness through the Snowflake warehouse solution. Scale POCs into production-grade reports to meet evolving business demands. Manage and act as the key technical advisor on Power BI and other reporting tools, identifying opportunities for improvement. Lead stakeholder meetings to identify measurement plans and KPIs, creating self-service dashboards with graphs, infographics, and other visualizations. Perform end-to-end analysis to identify key drivers of emerging trends and recommend actions at all business levels. Provide pre-post launch analysis for new tools, processes, training, and insights based on success metrics. Support a data-driven culture by educating the digital organization on leveraging data effectively. Measure usability/effectiveness and present actionable insights based on data results and best practices. Build custom analytics dashboards and reports aligned to KPIs for appropriate audiences. Process information from multiple data sources, combining complex queries for comprehensive insights. Provide guidance and recommendations on success metrics, KPI strategy, and health measurements across business units. Partner with cross-functional teams, including external resources, to improve measurement and evaluation metrics continuously. Champion company standards and best practices, driving continuous improvement in insights and reporting processes. Strong communication skills to convey findings clearly, avoiding overly technical jargon. Data Integration: Combine data from multiple sourcesoperational data, behavioral analytics, and vendor data. Example: Analyzing behavioral data from text reminders linked to operational data about appointment outcomes. Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Power BI and Snowflake for data analysis and visualization. Strong analytical skills to create meaningful insights from complex datasets. Ability to present data-driven recommendations clearly to business stakeholders. Healthcare Experience: Experience in healthcare data analysis and familiarity with FHIR API. Understanding of healthcare data structures and compliance requirements.
