We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Modeler with over 10 years of expertise in data modeling and a strong understanding of retirement systems. The ideal candidate will possess deep experience in database design and data management, with a keen ability to tailor data models to meet the specific needs of retirement systems. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the integrity, performance, and accessibility of our data architecture. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with business stakeholders, particularly in the retirement domain, to understand their data requirements and translate them into robust data models. Design, implement, and maintain logical, conceptual, and physical data models for various databases, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices. Develop and maintain data dictionaries and metadata repositories, with a focus on retirement data structures. Ensure data models align with the organization's overall data architecture and strategic goals. Optimize and refine data models to enhance performance, scalability, and reliability, especially in handling retirement plan data. Work closely with database administrators to implement and maintain data models, ensuring seamless integration and performance. Conduct data analysis and profiling to ensure the highest levels of data quality and integrity. Document and communicate data modeling standards, providing training and support to team members. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, particularly those affecting data modeling and retirement systems. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. 12+ years of experience in data modeling, database design, and data management, with a focus on retirement systems. Proficiency in data modeling tools such as ERwin, ER/Studio, or similar. Strong knowledge of relational database management systems (RDBMS) like Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL. Experience in Data modeling for OLTP systems is a MUST Experience with NoSQL databases and big data technologies is a plus. Familiarity with retirement industry standards and regulations is highly desirable. Certification in data modeling or database design is a plus.
