As part of this role, you will work on developing search solutions using Elasticsearch and integrating them into both backend and frontend applications. Additionally, you will contribute to designing and developing microservices with a focus on enhancing the functionality of search and analytics. Primary Skills Required: Elasticsearch Expertise: Strong experience in Elasticsearch search solutions, including design and implementation. Deep understanding of indexing and data ingestion processes. In-depth knowledge of advanced search and analytics capabilities within Elasticsearch. Ability to integrate Elasticsearch with backend and frontend applications. Secondary Skills Required: Frontend Development: Strong hands-on experience with Angular and/or React frameworks. Proficient in Advanced JavaScript, including ES6+ features. Experience in developing modern web applications and interactive user interfaces. Backend Development: Proficiency in Node.js and Express.js for developing scalable web services. Experience designing and developing Java Spring Boot microservices. Version Control & Build Tools: Experienced with Gradle, SVN, Maven, and Git for version control and build management. CI/CD & DevOps Practices: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for efficient software delivery. Responsibilities: Develop and implement Elasticsearch-based search solutions and integrate them into both the backend and frontend of the application stack. Design, build, and maintain microservices with a focus on high-performance and scalability using Java Spring Boot. Develop and optimize Angular and/or React front-end solutions, ensuring smooth interaction with backend search and data solutions. Work closely with product owners and business analysts to design technical solutions that meet business requirements. Implement best practices in software development, including clean code principles, version control, and continuous integration. Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate solutions into CI/CD pipelines. Participate in code reviews, and follow agile methodologies to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience). 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on Elasticsearch and JavaScript frameworks (Angular/React). Proficient in Elasticsearch search solutions and integrating them into web applications. Solid experience with Node.js, Java Spring Boot, and related backend technologies. Familiarity with modern build tools (Gradle, Maven, SVN, Git). Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and best DevOps practices. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team. Preferred Skills: Experience with additional cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, P) is a plus. Familiarity with Docker and containerization.
