The ideal candidate will have experience creating dashboards and reports using Tableau and PowerBI, translating business requirements into actionable insights, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure data-driven decision-making. Responsibilities: Understand business objectives and challenges, identifying alternative solutions and performing cost/benefit analyses. Analyze user requirements, procedures, and existing systems to optimize and automate data processing. Work closely with organizational personnel to understand operational workflows, data inputs/outputs, and reporting needs. Develop detailed documentation of user needs, program functions, and steps for new or modified reports. Review system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine feasibility of requested changes. Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports using Tableau and PowerBI, ensuring they align with business requirements. Collaborate with program staff to validate that reports and dashboards meet customer needs. Conduct testing of reports and dashboards to ensure accuracy and proper functionality. Assist in publishing and promoting reports within the organization. Qualifications & Skills: Minimum Requirements: 8 years of experience in data analysis or report creation using tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, SQL, Cognos, Business Objects, QlikView, or similar. Preferred Qualifications: 4 years of experience working with large-scale datasets in databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, or Snowflake. 2 years of experience developing dashboards and reports using Tableau. 2 years of experience developing dashboards and reports using PowerBI. Additional Considerations: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions. Experience working with state health analytics platforms or government projects is a plus. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
