The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing data center networks, with a strong focus on Arista, Cisco technologies, and advanced routing protocols like BGP. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities to support large-scale network projects. Key Responsibilities: Network Design & Architecture: Design, develop, and implement robust network architectures for data centers, focusing on scalability, security, and performance. Create detailed network diagrams, technical documentation, and design specifications. Routing & Switching Expertise: Configure, deploy, and manage Arista and Cisco network devices with a strong emphasis on BGP routing protocols. Optimize network performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure high availability. Automation & Scripting: Develop automation scripts using Python and leverage Ansible for network automation tasks. Implement efficient configuration management and deployment processes. Collaboration & Support: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including security, operations, and development, to support network infrastructure. Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and support for junior engineers. Monitoring & Optimization: Monitor network performance, analyze traffic patterns, and proactively identify areas for improvement. Implement best practices for network security, redundancy, and disaster recovery. Competencies: Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Arista and Cisco networking technologies (CCIE certification preferred). Advanced expertise in BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and other routing protocols. Proficiency in Python for scripting and Ansible for automation. Soft Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments. Experience: Years of Experience: 10+ years in network design, engineering, or related roles. Industry Experience: Data center environments or equivalent large-scale network infrastructure projects. Essential Skills: Expertise in Arista and Cisco network devices. CCIE certification (or equivalent advanced networking certification). In-depth understanding of BGP and other advanced routing protocols. Proficiency in Python scripting and Ansible automation. Strong communication and documentation skills. Desirable Skills: Additional certifications in network security (e.g., CCNP, CCIE Security). Experience with SDN (Software-Defined Networking) and cloud networking.
