PostgreSQL Database Developer Location: Remote - EST hour Visa: OPT/H4/Citizen Duration: 6+ Months Mode of Interview: Skype Need Linkedin and 2 verified references with Linkedin There will be a 2 rounds of pre screening Required Skills & Experience: Strong expertise in PostgreSQLthis is the primary focus of the role. Proficiency in SQL development, including complex queries and optimization. Experience working with large-scale databases and high-transaction environments. Background in reporting and data analytics queries is a plus. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with architects to develop queries and identify capabilities to meet data analytics requirements. Analyze current database operations and translate existing processes to PostgreSQL. Design and develop efficient, scalable queries to handle 12 million transactions per day over a 6-month period. Work alongside a DBA (who is currently supporting this effort) to create database objects and manage data replication to read-only instances. Ensure optimal database performance, troubleshooting query inefficiencies, and optimizing execution plans. Maintain and enhance reporting and data analytics queries to support business intelligence needs.
