Job Description TDHCA has the need of three .NET Software Developers to work remotely on a project. TDHCA is looking for skilled .NET Software Developers to join our project team. These positions will provide technical leadership and direction as part of a team of developers in the creation, delivery, and integration of complex software solutions that meet business requirements. The ideal candidates will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining .NET applications using technologies like C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, MVC, and SQL Server. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team to build a high-quality, scalable, and efficient application. TDHCA has acquired a .NET software application from another agency and requires the services of software developers to implement and customize the application. Participate in the design, evaluation, requirements gathering, and implementation of an IT software solution for specific business needs in accordance with federal programs. The developers will evaluate the software, oversee its implementation, gather requirements from program staff, and tailor the software to meet TDHCAs needs. This custom software application will focus on workflow management/automation, creating a central repository for data and documents, generating reports, developing an internal user portal, and building an external user portal for uploading federal program documentation. Key Responsibilities: Develop, test, and maintain .NET-based application using C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, MVC, Web API, and Entity Framework. Design and implement database structures, queries, and optimizations using SQL Server. Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following best practices and design patterns. Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues and performance bottlenecks. Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for internal and external use. Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement efforts. Stay updated with emerging .NET technologies and industry trends to enhance application efficiency. Ensure software security, performance, and compliance with coding standards. Requirements: Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in .NET technologies, including C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core. Experience with ASP.NET MVC/Web API for web application development. Knowledge of Entity Framework (EF), Dapper, or other ORM tools. Proficiency in SQL Server, database design, and stored procedures. Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, React, or Vue.js is a plus). Expertly builds REST APIs and ensures the delivery of secure data hosted on .NET infrastructure running out of on-prem private Cloud as well as public Cloud platforms.
