This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom Salesforce applications and integrations to optimize business processes. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Apex, SOSL, SOQL, and integration tools such as Talend and Cleo. They will also be adept at troubleshooting, analyzing system logs, and improving overall platform performance. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement custom Salesforce applications and solutions to support BOPIS Canada operations. Write clean, efficient, and scalable Apex code, queries (SOSL, SOQL), and triggers to enhance Salesforce functionality. Develop and manage Salesforce integrations using Talend, Cleo, and other middleware tools. Conduct technical investigations, including reviewing system logs, analyzing databases, and troubleshooting configuration issues. Optimize Salesforce performance, security, and scalability, ensuring seamless system functionality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and IT teams, to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Provide technical support, debugging assistance, and enhancements for existing Salesforce applications. Maintain documentation of system configurations, development processes, and best practices. Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities while meeting deadlines. Operate with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and the ability to execute tasks independently once direction is provided. Qualifications & Skills 10+ years of experience in Salesforce development, with a strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, Lightning components, and API integrations. Proficiency in Apex, SOSL, SOQL, and experience in writing efficient queries. Knowledge of Talend and Cleo integration services is preferred. Experience with technical investigations, including analyzing logs, reviewing database structures, and troubleshooting configurations. Strong ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing system issues. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams. Ability to work autonomously and take initiative once given direction. Preferred Qualifications Salesforce Developer certification (e.g., Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I or II) is a plus. Experience with Agile development methodologies. Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices in a Salesforce environment.
