Job Title: Salesforce Copado Location: Delaware (Day 1 onsite-Hybrid) Duration: Long Term Contract Job Description: We are seeking a Salesforce Deployment Engineer with expertise in Copado to manage and optimize deployment processes within our Salesforce ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Copado, Salesforce DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless and efficient releases. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to maintain deployment best practices and improve automation processes. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and enhance Salesforce deployment processes using Copado DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines, version control, and release management. Implement automated deployment strategies, branching methodologies, and environment synchronization best practices. Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to plan, coordinate, and execute release cycles efficiently. Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards using Copado's Compliance Hub and audit capabilities. Proactively troubleshoot and resolve deployment issues to minimize risks and downtime. Maintain and document release processes, deployment plans, rollback strategies, and post-release reviews. Provide training and mentorship on Copado tools and deployment processes to foster a DevOps-driven culture. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). 5-8+ years of experience in Salesforce release management, with at least 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Copado. Strong expertise in CI/CD pipeline setup, Git version control, Salesforce metadata management, and DevOps practices. Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments and release planning methodologies. Familiarity with the Salesforce development lifecycle, including sandbox and production environment strategies. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage with diverse stakeholders. Preferred Skills: Copado certifications (e.g., Copado Administrator, Copado Developer). Experience with automated testing and quality assurance tools for Salesforce. Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as SOX, GDPR in Salesforce environments. Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or other work management tools.
