This is an individual contributor (IC) role that will be instrumental in enabling developers to embrace security best practices, defining the strategic direction for application security, and implementing robust identity and access management (IAM) solutions. The ideal candidate will be experienced in identity migration, familiar with Auth0, Okta, and Azure, and passionate about improving security tooling and adoption among development teams. Key Responsibilities: Act as a security champion within the organization, helping developers integrate security seamlessly into their workflows. Enable and support developers in adopting secure coding and identity best practices. Define the application security strategy, ensuring alignment with business and compliance needs. Lead the implementation of security solutions, particularly in the areas of Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM). Work on identity source migration projects, ensuring seamless transitions with minimal business disruption. Provide hands-on support for security tooling implementation and developer adoption. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including security, engineering, and DevOps, to strengthen the security posture of applications. Participate in the cross-departmental security group to drive enterprise-wide security improvements. Required Skills & Qualifications: Strong knowledge and experience with IAM and CIAM. Hands-on experience with Auth0, Okta, and Azure IAM solutions. Experience migrating identity sources for applications, ensuring secure and efficient transitions. Deep understanding of secure application development practices, authentication, and authorization protocols. Ability to influence and educate developers on security best practices. Experience in implementing security tooling and enabling developer adoption. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Excellent communication skills to collaborate across teams and drive security initiatives. Preferred Qualifications: Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CSSLP, or equivalent. Experience in cloud security, DevSecOps, and automation. Familiarity with industry standards like OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML, and FIDO2.
