ServiceNow QA Lead

Chicago IL (Day One Onsite)

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow QA Lead to lead our quality assurance efforts for our ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software quality assurance, with expertise in testing and validating ServiceNow applications.

*Key Responsibilities:*

1. Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies for ServiceNow applications.

2. Lead a team of QA engineers to ensure high-quality testing and validation of ServiceNow applications.

3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and business stakeholders, to ensure that testing aligns with business requirements.

4. Develop and maintain test cases, test scripts, and test data for ServiceNow applications.

5. Execute manual and automated testing, including regression testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.

6. Identify and report defects, and collaborate with development teams to resolve defects.

7. Develop and maintain testing metrics and reports to measure testing effectiveness.

8. Stay up-to-date with ServiceNow releases, features, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve testing strategies.

*Requirements:*

1. 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with expertise in testing and validating ServiceNow applications.

2. Strong understanding of ServiceNow applications, including IT Service Management, Customer Service Management, and Security Operations.

3. Experience with testing frameworks, including Selenium, Appium, and TestComplete.

4. Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.

5. Experience with agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.

6. Strong communication and leadership skills.

*Nice to Have:*

1. Certification in ServiceNow, such as the ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or ServiceNow Certified Application Developer.

2. Experience with DevOps tools, including Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.

3. Experience with cloud-based technologies, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

4. Strong understanding of IT service management processes, including ITIL.

5. Experience with test automation frameworks, including TestNG, JUnit, or PyUnit.
