This role is critical to the transition cloud infrastructure, specifically the shift from Nokia's Kubernetes to Red Hat OpenShift, and maintaining performance and security standards. Key Responsibilities: Manage and implement cloud infrastructure solutions, focusing on scalability, security, and performance. Work closely with teams and vendors to ensure cloud deployments meet security standards and best practices. Collaborate with cloud security engineers to address security vulnerabilities and automate remediation processes. Monitor cloud performance using tools like Prometheus and Grafana, acting on alarms and metrics. Contribute to the ongoing transition from Nokia Kubernetes to Red Hat OpenShift. Develop automation scripts using Python, Ansible, and scripting to streamline cloud management processes. Optimize and troubleshoot cloud environments to ensure high availability and efficiency. Must Have Skills: Proven experience with Kubernetes, OpenStack, and Red Hat OpenShift. Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, cloud security, and performance monitoring. Experience with cloud automation and scripting, specifically Python, scripting, and Ansible. Proficiency with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana. Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work across internal teams and external vendors. Knowledge of security practices in cloud infrastructure and deployment environments. Good to Have Skills: Familiarity with IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem) and VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol). Experience with Red Hat OpenShift deployment and management. Experience with cloud performance tuning and optimization techniques.
