Ensure compatibility with existing software and hardware. Deployment: Implement and manage Windows 11 deployment strategies using tools such as Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), Windows Deployment Services (WDS), and Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT). Testing and Validation: Conduct comprehensive testing of Windows 11 builds, including application compatibility testing, to ensure a stable and secure operating system environment. Automation: Develop automated scripts and processes to streamline the build and deployment of Windows 11. Utilize Power and other scripting languages to enhance automation. Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of build procedures, deployment processes, and configuration settings. Support and Troubleshooting: Provide third-level support for Windows 11 issues. Troubleshoot and resolve complex OS-related problems. Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams, including network, security, and application teams, to ensure seamless integration and operation of Windows 11 within the IT infrastructure. Security: Ensure that Windows 11 builds and deployments meet the organizations security policies and standards. Implement security patches and updates promptly. Requirements: Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in building and deploying Windows operating systems, with a focus on Windows 10/11. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Windows 11 architecture, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), Windows Deployment Services (WDS), Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT), and Power scripting. Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex OS-related issues. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create clear and concise documentation. Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate are a plus.
