Job Description/ Responsibilities

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Problem Manager to join our team. The Problem Manager will be responsible
for identifying, analyzing, and resolving recurring incidents and issues to enhance the stability and performance of IT services. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

-Investigate and diagnose the root causes of recurring incidents and problems within IT services.

-Develop and implement corrective actions to prevent problem recurrence.

-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze trends and assess risk levels.

-Maintain and manage a problem register, ensuring all issues are tracked and resolved in a timely manner.

-Conduct post-mortem reviews and produce detailed reports of major incidents.

-Work closely with Incident Management to differentiate between incidents and problems.

-Develop problem management policies and best practices to improve operational efficiency.

-Ensure compliance with ITIL frameworks and organizational standards.

Qualifications:

-Proven experience in IT Service Management (ITSM) or problem management roles.

-Strong knowledge of ITIL practices, preferably ITIL certification.

-Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

-Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and communicate effectively.

-Proficiency in reporting tools and data analysis.

-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

-Experience with service management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).

-Familiarity with DevOps and Agile methodologies.
