The role focuses on ensuring product reliability, security, and performance under various conditions, including high-volume simulations, network interactions, and cybersecurity challenges. Key Responsibilities: Develop test plans, scripts, and protocols for software, firmware, and hardware validation. Automate tests to simulate high-volume data, real-world networks, and security threats. Conduct functional, integration, and system-level testing, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Perform both manual and automated testing for software and hardware components. Execute simulations to evaluate device performance under heavy workloads and test network reliability. Conduct cybersecurity testing like penetration testing and threat modeling. Analyze test results and collaborate with teams for issue resolution. Document test methodologies, defects, and metrics following FDA, ISO 13485, IEC 62304, and HIPAA regulations. Support root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA). Collaborate with teams for continuous improvement and maintain automated test frameworks. Qualifications: Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field. Experience in software/hardware testing, automation, or medical device validation. Proficiency in test scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#). Experience with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, JIRA, Selenium). Knowledge of network protocols, security testing, and performance benchmarking. Familiarity with FDA 21 CFR Part 820, ISO 14971, and IEC 60601 standards. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cloud-based medical device testing (AWS, Azure). Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, OWASP, FIPS 140-2). Certifications like ISTQB, CISSP, or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH).
