The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust backend systems using Java 17, Spring Boot, AWS, and PostgreSQL. This role requires a strong commitment to collaborative problem-solving, sophisticated design, and delivering high-quality products. Responsibilities Develop and maintain scalable backend services using Java 17 and Spring Boot. Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless integration with front-end applications. Optimize database performance and manage data storage solutions using PostgreSQL. Leverage AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda) to design cloud-based solutions. Troubleshoot and debug backend issues, ensuring system stability and performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including front-end developers, DevOps engineers, and product managers. Implement best practices for code quality, testing, and version control using tools like Git. Monitor application performance and scalability, addressing bottlenecks proactively. Requirements Proficiency in Java 17 with a solid understanding of its ecosystems. Hands-on experience with Spring Boot for developing microservices architecture. Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly AWS (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS). Strong experience in relational databases, especially PostgreSQL, including schema design and optimization. Knowledge of RESTful API design principles and implementation. Experience with version control systems like Git and build tools such as Maven or Gradle. Understanding of containerization technologies like Docker is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile environment. Preferred Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Certifications in AWS or Java frameworks are advantageous.
