This role supports the transition to a modular, interoperable Medicaid system based on Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) while ensuring compliance with federal standards. The Business Analyst will work closely with business areas, vendors, and the Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure contract requirements are met and solutions align with business needs.Key Responsibilities: Monitor contracts for development, configuration, and operational activities. Review and enforce processes and procedures in a multi-vendor environment. Collaborate with multiple vendors and cross-functional teams, Review project artifacts and provide feedback or approvals. Engage professionally with executives, managers, and subject matter experts. Perform project management functions: documentation, scheduling, reporting, and tracking action items. Provide business and requirements oversight, Support CMS reporting and certification processes. Identify and report project abnormalities or variances, Manage stakeholder relationships and communicate effectively with senior leadership.Required Skills & Qualifications: Strong contract monitoring and vendor management experience. Expertise in reviewing project or software artifacts. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Experience in stakeholder engagement and organizational change management. Ability to multitask and work independently. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, MS Project, Visio, and Webex/Teams.Required Experience: 10 + years as a Senior Business Analyst with 3+ years in business process modeling and management. 5 + years of experience in provider management (Must-have). 8+ years of experience with MMIS, Medicare, Medicaid, or a major healthcare payer. 3+ years of experience working on multi-vendor projects.
