The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Informatica IDMC tool and hands-on experience in migrating data from on-premises systems (e.g., Netezza) to cloud-based data warehouses, particularly Snowflake. This role involves redesigning and optimizing existing ETL workflows for Snowflake, ensuring efficient and scalable data movement and transformation. Key Responsibilities: Analyze existing Informatica PowerCenter workflows currently loading data into Netezza. Design, develop, and migrate ETL processes to load data into Snowflake using Informatica. Optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, and maintainability in a cloud environment. Implement best practices for cloud data warehousing and ETL performance tuning. Conduct unit and integration testing, and assist with user acceptance testing (UAT). Required Skills: Strong experience with Informatica IDMC (development, troubleshooting). - Must Experience in migrating ETL processes to Snowflake - Good to have Deep understanding of Snowflake architecture, data loading techniques, and performance optimization. - Good to have Proficiency with SQL, especially in Netezza and Snowflake environments. - Good to Have Experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS/Azure/GCP) and cloud data migration tools.
