The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Oracle R12, strong functional expertise in discrete manufacturing processes, and the ability to drive process improvements across manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities: 1. Functional Expertise: Possess deep understanding of Oracle R12 Discrete Manufacturing modules, including Work in Process (WIP), Inventory, and Bills of Material (BOM). Demonstrate knowledge of discrete manufacturing processes such as shop floor control, material control, and job management. Configure and customize Oracle R12 to meet specific manufacturing requirements effectively. 2. Implementation & Support: Participate in all stages of Oracle R12 implementation projects: requirements gathering, solution design, system configuration, testing, and go-live. Provide ongoing support for Oracle R12 Discrete Manufacturing, ensuring system stability and addressing user issues promptly. Document system configurations, processes, and procedures for future reference and training. 3. Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement within the manufacturing organization. Propose solutions leveraging Oracle R12 capabilities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other business systems. 4. Training & Knowledge Transfer: Provide training to end-users on Oracle R12 Discrete Manufacturing modules. Develop and maintain comprehensive user documentation and training materials. 5. Problem Solving: Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to Oracle R12 Discrete Manufacturing. Escalate issues to Oracle Support when necessary for advanced troubleshooting. Specific Tasks: Manage Bills of Material (BOMs) and Routings for discrete jobs. Configure and manage shop floor transactions, including moves, completions, and scrapping. Monitor job status to identify and address potential bottlenecks. Generate and analyze reports to evaluate manufacturing performance. Work with Oracle MES (Manufacturing Execution System) to enhance shop floor execution capabilities. Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, XML/BI Publisher, and Oracle Workflows. Experience with Oracle EBS R12 and Oracle Process Manufacturing (OPM) modules. Ability to debug and troubleshoot technical issues efficiently. Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Strong organizational and time management skills. Additional Skills (Optional): Knowledge of Oracle Transportation Management, Order Management, Warehouse Management Systems, or Planning modules. Experience with Oracle EBS SCM and WMS. Background as an Oracle EBS Financial Functional Consultant is a plus. Competencies: SCM (Supply Chain Management) Experience: 810 years of experience in Oracle R12 Discrete Manufacturing functional consultancy.
